The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) administers and enforces U.S. Federal tax laws. If you enjoy interacting with others, the role of Contact Representative may be right for you. This position provides administrative and technical assistance to individuals and businesses primarily over the phone and/or in person. At the entry-level, you would receive a Grade/Pay of GS-5. This follows the Treasury Secretary announcement that the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has moved the deadline for 2020 federal individual income tax returns to May 17, 2021. The extended deadline only includes individual tax returns. The extended deadline also includes Form 140PTC and Form 140ET.
